I made Bekka and me matching sunhats for our trip to Lake Tahoe. I didn't really have a pattern, I just did a normal increase until I had the right diameter, then sc's all around until I liked the length (I switched the color for the last few rows on Bekka's to look like a ribbon). Then I resumed a normal increase until I liked the length of the brim. I tied a ribbon around mine. I also made a chin strap for Bekka's, just 25ch or so, and stitched it onto the hat.
