Caps for Cancer Children

I made these for Camp Happy Times and Halos of Hope. (It was one of my gifts to Riley for his birthday this year.) Their theme this year was medieval, so I went royal. For the king's crown I altered this pattern for a kid's crown but I don't remember exactly what I did. I think I started with ch70, then worked the pattern pretty much the same. I also brought in color for the puffs (to look more like jewels) and I think I only used 3 or 4 dc for each puff. And I omitted the puff at the top, just brought it to a point. I found the tiara pattern here. I actually made up the pattern for the hats (they're almost identical, except for the brim on the blue hat). I don't remember exactly how I made the hats, but I did 1sc followed by ch1, increasing until I had the desired diameter. I'll try to do it again and write down the pattern this time.
